Position Title: ReStore Customer Service Associate
Reports To: ReStore Manager or Designated Representative
Schedule: 25–30 hours/week, Tuesday–Saturday, with rotating Saturday flexibility
Location: Habitat ReStore – 12340 McColl Rd, Laurinburg, NC 28352
Compensation: $13.00/hour
Store Hours: Tuesday–Friday, 10:00 AM–5:00 PM; Saturday, 9:00 AM–3:00 PM

Over the years, Habitat for Humanity of Scotland County has helped hundreds of families, and their loved ones remain in homes they once feared were beyond repair. We’ve constructed more than 50 homes for qualified families who showed tremendous heart, rolled up their sleeves, and partnered with us to make their dream of homeownership a reality. These aren’t just houses—they’re sanctuaries, launching pads, and legacies.
Your role is key to that mission. Every kind word, every well-managed sale, and every donation you process helps make a real difference in your neighbor’s life. You’re not just part of a store—you’re part of a movement.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement & Sales

Provide exceptional customer service with professionalism and heart

Assist customers with purchases, questions, and donation inquiries

Being an ambassador for Habitat’s mission through positive, purpose-driven interactions

Assist with Restore social media posts
Store Operations

Follow all opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and reconciliation

Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming sales floor

Help merchandise and restock donated items to maximize impact and visual appeal (Staging product)

Operate our cash register accurately and efficiently, experience in POS system Light Speed ideal.

Support coworkers and volunteers with a cooperative spirit… Team Collaboration!

Communicate effectively with the Store Manager and leadership team

Uphold safety standards and foster a positive workplace culture
Employment Terms & Benefits

Hourly Wage: $13.00

Work Schedule: 25–30 hours per week, Tuesday–Saturday (some schedule flexibility; rotating Saturday responsibilities required)

Benefits Eligibility: After 90 days of continuous employment and successful completion of the probationary period, employees are eligible for accrued vacation and sick leave in accordance with HFHSC personnel policies
