  • 2024 Laurinburg After 5

    The Chamber is happy to announce the lineup for the Laurinburg After 5 (LA5) summer concert series at McDuffie Square in Downtown Laurinburg.

    This year the kickoff concert will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024, during the Sud & Swine BBQ Festival and will feature Too Much Sylvia. The dates are as follows: 

     

    April 12 - Too Much Sylvia - 6:00 pm
    (Suds & Swine BBQ Festival)

    May 10 - Tru Sol 6:00 pm

    June 7 - Chris Taylor & The Rumor - 6:00 pm

     July 12 - Postponed to Aug 2 - Band of Oz - 6:00 pm

    August 9 - Liquid Pleasure - 6:00 pm 

    September 12 - Ryan Perry - 6:00 pm (Thursday)

    October 18 - Uptown L.A. Brown - 6:00 pm

    will play something that everyone can enjoy. Their onstage antics and personalities will touch all. Whether it’s a low-key dinner setting, an energetic party, a festival with all ages attending, the band easily adapts.

  • The Band of Oz
    was formed in 1967 as a part-time band playing fraternity parties and high school proms all over the South. In 1977 the band went on the road full time. Since that time the band has made an exceptional name for itself throughout the Southeast by playing the top clubs and corporate parties, and getting excellent reviews along the way.

    For several years the group has been a guest on most of the major beach concerts in the Carolinas, Virginia, and Georgia.

    Liquid Pleasure has been chosen to perform for former President Bill Clinton’s Inaugural Ball and that of North Carolina Governor, Mike Easley. The Ravens football team also had a Super Bowl blast in 2000 with LIQUID PLEASURE at the helm!
