    July 11 - 13 at 8 p.m.

    This summer, audiences will enjoy Strike at the Wind! under the stars at the historic Adolph Dial Amphitheater at the Lumbee Tribe Cultural Center.

    Tickets are $5 for all ages and are on sale now. Tickets can be purchased at the GPAC box office or by calling 910.521.6361. Limited tickets are available for each performance and purchases are strongly encouraged in advance.

    Seating
    Two seating areas will be available for patrons. Limited chair seating will be available on a first come, first serve basis. A newly sodded section near the stage will also be an option. Ticket holders may bring lounge chairs or blankets for lawn seating, but coolers are not permitted.

    Live music and food vendors!

    The play will feature live musical performances by local artists. A special pre-show concert by local musician, Charly Lowry will begin at 6:30 p.m. Food vendors will be on site each night. 

    Guests can also visit other areas of the Culture Center including the newly renovated swimming pool, the Spring Moon Garden, and a new playground.  

    The Culture Center is located at 638 Terry Sanford Drive, Maxton, NC.

    Relive the legendary outdoor drama!

    Strike at the Wind! tells the story of the Lowrie War in Robeson County. It chronicles the life of Henry Berry Lowrie who led a band of men in a seven-year battle against those he believed killed his father and brother. This year's performance is a collaboration between the Lumbee Tribe and UNC Pembroke.
