Are you thinking about starting a non-profit or are you currently working with an organization that is just getting off the ground? This workshop will offer a comprehensive checklist of things that must be done in the first three years to lay a foundation for success. Participants will walk away with resources to ensure that their organization is in compliance with state/federal laws as well as a greater understanding of the key components of development that impact sustainability. These 4 seminars are offered in two short days and will cover the following topics:

• Strategic Planning 101 for Non-Profits
• Board Roles and Responsibilities for Non-Profits-
Where the board ends and staff begins
• Funding Overhead for Your Non-Profit
Attend one or all of these classes designed to give you the basics needed to operate a successful non-profit. By attending 3 of the 4 seminars, you will be given a Certificate of Completion from The Small Business Center of Richmond Community College. The seminar times are 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm both days.
