    Event Description:
    The MidSandhills MAL Unit of the League of Women Voters of NC (LWVNC) and New Rural Project (NRP) are hosting a Meet 'n Greet for the candidates appearing on the ballot for Scotland County in the 2022 General Election.  The purpose of the Meet 'n Greet is to provide attendees an opportunity to learn about the candidates and their overall position/philosophy.  This is not a debate.  It is an event to allow the public to meet candidates on a one-on-one basis.  A voter registration and information table will be set up.  The Meet 'n Greet is open to the public and light refreshments will be available.

    The LWVNC and NRP are nonpartisan, not-for-profit organizations dedicated to increasing civic and electoral engagement.

    The Meet 'n Greet will be held on National Voter Registration Day, Tuesday, September 20, 2022, from 4:30PM to 6:30PM.
