Membership Committee Introduces New Program

In January, the Membership Committee began a new promotion designed to keep money in Scotland County.  Called the “Members Matter!” discount program, the Chamber is trying to encourage members to buy products and services from one another.

“This is a service that goes along with our gift certificate program to help keep spending with our members and in Scotland County,” said Chamber Program Director Matt Kendall.

The program works on a strictly voluntary basis.  Participating members give small discounts or bonuses to other Chamber members.  For future reference, businesses will have their discounts listed in our “Chamber Happenings” weekly e-mails.  In addition, discounts will be listed permanently on the Chamber’s website under the “benefits” section.

If you would like to offer a discount to other members, call the Chamber at 276-7420, or send an e-mail to mkendall@laurinburgchamber.com.  “I hope to continue growing the participation,” said Kendall.  “The more businesses that participate, the more value this program has to our membership,” said Kendall.

*Call the Chamber for additional discount cards or to get your business included.*
