To act as the primary Chamber and community group to promote commercial and industrial development and growth of the Scotland County area in cooperation with the Board of Commissioners of Scotland County, Laurinburg City Council, Gibson Town Council and Wagram Town Council.

| Objectives: |
1. Develop short term and long range plans for industrial growth and development using current available studies for economic development in Scotland County and the surrounding region.
2. Work closely with the North Carolina Department of Commerce both with new industrial location and with existing industry expansion.
3. Continue the working relationship with the North Carolina Southeast Regional Economic Development commission.
4. Promote efforts among industry, local schools, and community college to educate our work force based on need and opportunity.
5. Keep the Marketing Program updated.
